What are the most common bathroom projects?

There are a few different types of projects that people typically undertake when remodeling their bathrooms. One of the simplest – and most affordable – ways to give your bathroom a fresh look is by replacing dated or damaged fixtures. This includes things like sinks, countertops, toilets, and bathtubs. And luckily, there are a lot of great options on the market these days, so you’re sure to find something that suits your style.

Another common project is retiling the floors or walls. This is a great way to add new life to a bathroom that’s starting to look a bit tired. And there are so many different tile options available, from classic white subway tiles to more modern mosaic patterns.

Changing out the shower with a new tile or Onyx shower is a project we do quite often. This and new paint on the walls will go a long way to bringing a bathroom back to life. Adding a modern semi-frameless or frameless shower door will bring it all together. Also, never underestimate the ability of new paint on the walls, trim and doors to make any room look new again.

If your bathroom is in need of a more serious makeover, you may want to consider a complete gut renovation. This type of project involves tearing out everything – from the floors to the walls to the ceiling – and starting from scratch. Obviously, this is a much more extensive (and expensive) project than simply replacing some fixtures or retiling. But if your bathroom is in dire need of an update, a gut renovation may be the best way to go.

And for the ultimate bathroom project you can expanding a bathroom into a bedroom to create an enormous master suite. This involves removing walls to create a larger bathroom and a huge walk-in closet. One of the great benefits of having a master bathroom suite is the increased amount of space that it affords in both the bathroom and closet. Many clients have use the closet to created a dedicated space for getting ready in the morning. That's got to be a nice way to start your day.

So, from simple project so massive undertakings, bathroom projects come in all shapes and size.
